The way of the mother is to absorb desecration where and when it comes to her and the Creation in which she is embedded and lives.
This teaching is coming from a great ancient longleaf pine that was desecrated in her very yard on the 1st Day of December during the high holy season of Light. The sacrifice of the large and long limbs on the north side of this tree happened to help us reassess our human values that need to come into balance with cosmic values of wholeness and healing for all – the expansion of Creation, not the desecration. These values are compromised in humans now because we do not value our environment as our living home which needs to have care and concern and nurturing at all times. If we do not care for our environment and our planet it will become more diseased and die just as human bodies disease and die when they get out of balance. If we lose our planet, where do we or our future generations plan to go?
If we let the values of greed and putting the mechanical world continue to come first in our priorities we risk catastrophic loss to our well being. Machines and the mechanical world do not live and do not have hearts to feel, but they can control us if we allow it. The life of the mechanical world is based in greed – the greed of humans! Where do our values lie – in machines or in the living world of Creation.
